About AutoRacingConnected
AutoRacingConnected is an online, Playstation based eSports league, specializing in motorsport ranging from Formula 1 to GT cars, and much more! Since our founding in 2016, we've evolved into one of the best racing leagues currently out there, with a place for everyone.
The Early Years:
AutoRacingConnected started in 2016 when our founders, AJ and Jamal, started up an online Endurance league for the brand new title Project CARS. Specializing in multiclass LMP2 & GT3 class racing, we grew quickly into other branches of racing, including our second series, sports cars, and our third series Indycar. Later that year, we started our flagship series inaugural championship: ARC Formula 1, formerly known as Formula ARC.
As we grew and expanded, we attracted more people to race, and gained all sorts of knowledge of racing along the way.
The Growth Spurt:
Near the end of 2017, we had completed 4 entire seasons already, and had been growing steadily. Season 5 marked our biggest growth spurt yet, as we expanded from a smallish league of around 60 members, to nearly 100 members. As we began to grow, we started working on our community, and adding fun aspects to our series that make it unique, such as the introduction of in-league teams, driver transfers between seasons, and the early workings of an annual schedule, to replicate the bustle of a real life off-season and events.
The Current Day:
Typing this is 2021, we have big plans going forward- we've since switched to a discord based system, all kinds of small club-style events, and attracted 150+ members to ARC, from different countries all around the world. We're focusing on setting up a second Formula 1 tier, and many other championships have formed alongside our main championships. We're ready to continue to grow into a much bigger, more awesome league, and above all, we're ready to have the most fun racing out there right now.
